This year's Easter Jeep Safari has delivered the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Dispatcher concept off-roader, which highlights the capability of the hybrid 4xe platform while celebrating the nostalgia of the post-war Jeeps enjoyed by service members returning to the home front.
The new Dispatcher concept SUV begins with a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe powered by the 2.0-liter I-4 plug-in hybrid setup. Element 115 Green paint will grab your attention and the Jeep’s rolling stock will hold it—36-inch Traxion pizza cutters and cream-colored 16x7-inch steel wheels.
Dana 50 axles route power to the dirt while a Jeep Performance Parts suspension kit, featuring Bilstein dampers, handles bump absorption.
WILLYS is stamped into the sides of the hood in homage to the flat-fender Jeeps of the past.
Up front, a classic-looking-yet-totally-new Warn M8274 winch, spooled with synthetic rope, sits on the stubby bumper.
Where you’d normally find the “Trail Rated” badge, the Jeep designers fashioned a custom badge highlighting how Jeep grilles have evolved from the wartime 4x4s of yore to the present.
What about those seats? They’re modern units sans headrest for that classic low-back look and feel, trimmed in saddle leather and houndstooth cloth. The Jeep Performance Parts vinyl floor underfoot makes post-trail cleanups a cinch.
Need to air up those tires after a day on the trails? The Jeep Performance Parts air compressor stealthily mounted within the tailgate is on deck.
The clutch of Jeep concepts is never complete without a way to facilitate post-trail celebrations. Beside the spare tire is a handy bottle opener for those frosty campsite cream sodas.
